Leslie&Rob | Sonoma

Finally. The much anticipated blogging of the much anticipated wedding of the much appreciated Leslie and Rob!! Appreciated, however, is far too tame a word. We really really love these guys!! We’ve been hanging on to this blog in effort to let Style Me Pretty have the first crack at their images, but are excited to be able to share it with you now. Leslie and Rob have such a fun and free love. Their journey has taken them quite literally around the world. The two were engaged in Sonoma wine country and thought it would be cool to get married in the place where it all began. Now this is no big feat for a California local, but Leslie (originally a Jersey girl) and Rob (a Brit right down to his perfectly tailored suit) currently live in England. They met in Germany and haven’t look back since, so its no wonder that their wedding day would be an adventure all its own. A handful of their closest friends and family made the journey to the beautiful rolling hills of Northern California and what followed stands as one of the greatest weddings we’ve witnessed. From the uber modern house that Leslie got ready in, to the perfect blanket of clouds that rolled in to add just a touch of drama to the light, it was a photographer’s dream. More importantly, we feel incredibly blessed to be able to call Leslie and Rob friends, to have been a part of it all, and to have been there to document the beginning of such a strong and tender and relentless love. Destination weddings have been knocking down our door these days, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. We love getting out of our own backyard and the adventure of it all never gets old.
